What a big offseason it has already been for the Buffalo Bills, and the news just keeps on coming. According to Ian Rapoport, the Bills have re-signed Daryl Williams to a 3-year deal, further solidifying the protection for Josh Allen. Rapoport has also reported that the deal is worth $28.2M with about $14M guaranteed and about $9.4M annually.

With this news, a lot of the speculation can be put to rest regarding what the Buffalo Bills will do with the cap space they created in the past 72 hours. It’s now clear that the top priorities of this offseason were to retain key talent, Matt Milano and Daryl Williams.

The next question that persists is what the Bills will do with Jon Feliciano. As it currently stands, the Buffalo Bills are right up against if not over the cap and they will need to create space to sign their upcoming draft picks. This means that re-signing Feliciano could be off the table unless some significant moves are made. With the money that the Bills have spent in the last two days, some more cuts could be on the way. Rapoport also reported that Mario Addison was the third Buffalo Bills player to take a pay cut this offseason. There aren’t many candidates left on the roster to cut in order to create more cap space entering free agency.

Turning to the draft and free agency, it’s obvious that right guard is the most glaring need on the roster. However, without a lot of cap space available, the Bills might be targeting a guard with their first round pick at 30th overall. With that being said, if the Bills make some more cuts they could be somewhat active in free agency in the form of acquiring bargain bin players at positions of need.
