Ryan Fitzpatrick

Bills fans know this first quarterback well as Ryan Fitzpatrick was the starting quarterback from 2009 to 2012. Since that time he has played for the Tennessee Titans, Houston Texans, New York Jets, Tampa Bay Bucs, and recently the Miami Dolphins.

At each of those stops, he has started at least nine games and when he steps in as the starter he has usually been productive. This past season, at 38 years old, he was arguably the best quarterback the Dolphins have. He finished with 13 touchdowns and eight interceptions in nine games played and had three games with over 300 passing yards.

If the Buffalo Bills need a quarterback who has experience in being a backup but stepping in at a moment’s notice and being productive, there may not be a better option than Ryan Fitzpatrick.
