Should the Buffalo Bills cut Mario Addison?

Before the front office can determine which players to add, they must first answer some questions about players currently on the roster. The first question is what they should do with defensive end Mario Addison.

The Bills added Addison last offseason as a replacement for Shaq Lawson who left for the Miami Dolphins in free agency. He is an older veteran but had still been very productive with the Carolina Panthers and had nine or more sacks in four straight seasons.

Addison started the season very well with sacks in each of the first two weeks but then would add only four more over the final 16 games, including the playoffs.

While the Bills probably would like to keep Mario Addison they also have limited cap space to improve this team. If the Bills release Addison, with a post-June 1st designation, it would save them over $8 million in cap space.

This is a move that makes a lot of sense for what the Buffalo Bills need to do this offseason.
