Curtis Samuel

If the Buffalo Bills want to add a gadget, do-it-all type player then there isn’t a better one available than Curtis Samuel. He was previously with the Carolina Panthers and the connection between the two franchises is well documented.

Samuel was a second-round pick by the Carolina Panthers in 2017 and has seen his role in the offense grow year over year. This past season, with Matt Rhule and Joe Brady running the offense, he had his best season with 77 receptions, 851 receiving yards, 3 touchdowns with 41 rushing attempts, 200 rushing yards and two more touchdowns.

This past season, Samuel finished second in the league among wide receivers in touches, behind only Stefon Diggs.

He also has experience as a kick returner with 20 career kick returns in 2017 and 2018. The biggest issue is that Curtis Samuel is likely to get a bigger contract in free agency than the Bills would want to spend.
