The wide receiver position has gone under a remarkable transformation for the Buffalo Bills over the past few seasons under Brandon Beane. It started in 2019 with the addition of John Brown and Cole Beasley added as free agents.

Even though the offense took a step forward, it didn’t stop Beane from being aggressive and trading for Stefon Diggs. However, he wasn’t done and drafted two more wide receivers in the NFL Draft with Gabriel Davis and Isaiah Hodgins.

The results were great as the Buffalo Bills finished the season near the top in most passing categories and had the league leader in receptions and receiving yards with Stefon Diggs. The performance of the position probably moves this lower down on the priority list but the Bills do have free agents at the position in Isaiah McKenzie and Andre Roberts.

The most likely scenario is they try to bring these players back. However, if they don’t it wouldn’t be surprising to see them pursue one of these three players at the position in free agency.
