This Saturday will be the first time Buffalo has hosted a playoff game since 1996 and below are the keys to victory for winning this Wild Card matchup against the Colts.
Coming off of their dominant performance against the Dolphins, the Buffalo Bills finishing at 13-3 are as hot as any team in the league entering the postseason. In a game where the Bills were expected to rest their starters for a majority of the game, Buffalo scored 56 points with the backups in for the entirety of the second half.
Last week’s performance from the Bills goes to show just how deep the messages from this Buffalo coaching staff runs. Once the backups came into the game the offense certainly took a brief step back, but eventually found traction and proved just how much this offense benefits from offensive coordinator Brian Daboll.
As for the Colts, they squeezed their way into the playoffs with a 11-5 record in a very competitive AFC playoff race. Although the Colts had a tough time carving out their spot in the playoffs, they are a very well rounded team without any clear weaknesses. With that being said, they do have some obvious strengths that the Bills should do their best to either avoid or mitigate in this Wild Card matchup.
