Tremaine Edmunds

The Buffalo Bills middle linebacker was on this list last week and he once again had another great performance. There is a case to be made that his play against the Cardinals was even more impressive considering he was tasked with limiting Kyler Murray’s ability to make plays on the ground.

While the Cardinals quarterback did have two rushing touchdowns, he was limited to one of his lowest rushing totals of the season with only 61 yards. This was due to Edmunds’ ability to spy on Murray and get into position when he scrambled, as described in this breakdown by Erik Turner of Cover1.

Tremaine Edmunds finished the game with 10 total tackles, his second consecutive game with double-digit tackles, and once again looked like the Pro Bowl linebacker he was last year. It appears the shoulder injury he suffered earlier this year is behind him and he is set up for an excellent finish to the season.
