Buffalo Bills: 5 players who should make the Pro Bowl this season
Andre Roberts
The Buffalo Bills returner has made the past two Pro Bowls, once as a member of the New York Jets in 2018 and last year with the Bills. However, this season is one of his best yet.
While Roberts hasn’t returned a kick for a touchdown, although he has been close a few times, he still is second in the NFL in kickoff yards per return at 29.0 with a season-long of 60 yards. He also is sixth in the NFL in punt yards per return at 11.8 yards per punt.
While it isn’t often discussed, Roberts’ ability on returns has helped set the Bills offense up in advantageous positions on the field.
Corey Bojorquez
One of the biggest surprises this year has been punter Corey Bojorquez, who also has played a major role in the field position battle through the first 10 games. The Bills have seemingly been looking for a long term answer at the position by bringing in two punters during training camp but Bojorquez eventually won the job.
Aside from an awful punt against the Arizona Cardinals, Bojorquez has been consistent and ranks fourth in the NFL (first in the AFC) at 49.1 yards per punt. He also is first in the NFL this year in the longest punt at 72 yards.
The last punter to make the Pro Bowl for the Buffalo Bills was Brian Moorman and it appears Corey Bojorquez is in a good position to be the next.
