Buffalo Bills: Stock Report after Week 9 win over Seahawks
Tremaine Edmunds
The linebacker position had a really good game against the Seattle Seahawks and Tremaine Edmunds was a big part of that. The team’s middle linebacker has not been playing at the Pro Bowl level he did last year.
He finished the game against the Seahawks with 11 total tackles, one sack, one tackle for a loss, and one pass defended. Head coach Sean McDermott was asked about Edmunds’ play after the game and he noticed a change as well.
This season appeared to be setting up to be a breakout year for Tremaine Edmunds. He was entering his third season in the NFL, he has been the team’s starting middle linebacker each of those seasons and was coming off his first Pro Bowl appearance.
It would appear that a shoulder injury, suffered in Week 1, could have attributed to his drop in performance. However, if that injury has healed he could be set up for a big second half of the season.
