3rd Round: Tyreke Johnson (CB, Ohio State)

The Buffalo Bills continue to focus on rebuilding their defense with the selection of cornerback Tyreke Johnson out of Ohio State. He is someone that seems to check all the boxes but has not had a chance to get on the field as the Buckeyes have had excellent corners recently with Jeff Okudah and Damon Arnette, two players who went in the first round of the recent NFL Draft.

That appears set to change this week as Johnson is expected to see extending playing time with injuries in the Buckeye secondary.

If Johnson plays well and continues throughout the season, he could see his stock rise. However, the Buffalo Bills need to address the cornerback position this offseason and a player like Tyreke Johnson in the third round makes sense.
