Buffalo Bills trade for Haason Reddick
While the run defense has been an issue, the other issue for the Buffalo Bills has been a struggle to get pressure on the quarterback. This is why a player like Haason Reddick would make sense to target as he could potentially fill the void left by the retirement of Lorenzo Alexander.
The Bills haven’t been able to get much pressure from that second level of their defense but this is something that Haason Reddick does pretty well and already has five sacks on the season.
This season has been a bit of a surprise as Reddick has struggled with the Arizona Cardinals since they took him in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft. The reason it would make sense for the Bills to trade for Reddick, and believe he could continue that success with Buffalo, is that prior to this year his best season came in 2018 when he had 80 tackles and four sacks.
Why this is important is that was the season that Steve Wilks was the head coach of the Cardinals. Prior to joining the Cardinals, Wilks was on the defensive staff while Sean McDermott was the defensive coordinator with the Carolina Panthers. He ran a defense very similar to what McDermott runs and this could be an easy transition for the Cardinals linebacker.

The addition of Haason Reddick and Dalvin Tomlinson would go a long way in addressing some of the biggest needs on this Buffalo Bills defense and put them in a position to make a deep playoff run.
