Tyler Kroft

This is now the second game this season that Tyler Kroft has gotten the start in place of Dawson Knox and for the second time, Kroft has played great. In the first game, in Week 3 against the Los Angeles Rams, Kroft had two touchdowns.

This past week against the New York Jets, Kroft had four receptions for 64 yards and the longest reception of the game at 38 yards. That play likely would have went for a touchdown if he didn’t stumble after making the catch.

While it remains to be seen when Dawson Knox is able to return but when he does, he may not be the starter. This was once again another good performance from Kroft and it will be tough to justify going back to Knox with the way the veteran tight end has played.

The coaching staff shouldn’t completely phase out Dawson Knox but Tyler Kroft should be the starting tight end for the Buffalo Bills for the foreseeable future.
