Round 2: Hamsah Nasirildeen (S, Florida State)

The Buffalo Bills have one of the top safety duos in the NFL with Jordan Poyer and Micah Hyde. While Poyer is under contract through 2022, Micah Hyde will be a free agent after the 2021 season and the Buffalo Bills could be looking for a potential replacement.

Hamsah Nasirildeen out of Florida State could be that answer to potentially replace Hyde in this defense. However, Nasirildeen could also potentially be the replacement for Matt Milano at linebacker as he is a bit of that hybrid safety/linebacker body type. At 6’4″ and 215 pounds he is less than 10 pounds lighter than Milano.

A player like Nasirildeen is someone that may not need a position his rookie season and could play multiple roles at linebacker or safety or even be that “Big Nickel” that was discussed regularly this past offseason.
