Round 1: Christian Barmore (IDL, Alabama)

In the first round, the Buffalo Bills go with the best player available and that is interior defensive lineman Christian Barmore out of Alabama. He is a redshirt sophomore that started the year off slowly after suffering a knee injury prior to the season.

He did play this past week against Texas A&M but didn’t register any stats but should see more playing time later today against Ole Miss.

He is a big defensive tackle that could be a long term solution next to Ed Oliver. The Bills defense is without Star Lotulelei this season and the run defense has struggled without a big body like Lotulelei in the middle.

At 6’5″ and 310 pounds, Barmore could be the player that clogs running lanes being an anchor in the middle that requires two offensive linemen. This would free up linebackers like Tremaine Edmunds to get to the ball carrier without any traffic.
