Josh Allen’s Development

While there wasn’t much of an offseason to gauge Allen’s development he showed a ton in his first two seasons to assume he took another stride this offseason. Through film study, footwork, and leadership the hopefully franchise quarterback looks to take another big step in his game.

The signal-caller organized a throwing season this summer with his wideouts further showcasing his leadership. Organizing that during a pandemic isn’t easy, but it shows his commitment to improving as a player and leader.

Adding pieces to the offense will enhance his growth as well. Diggs will make life easier through his superb route running and separation. Rookie running back Zack Moss appears to be an upgrade over the aging Frank Gore.

If Allen is able to take a similar jump this year as he did from year one to two then that should be enough to crown the team AFC East champions.

While it may have taken three full seasons to get to this point the team is ready to seize the moment. From top to bottom there aren’t a lot of glaring pieces holding the team back. Perhaps this is the season the champions will come from Western New York for the first time since 1995.
