Stock Down – Corey Bojorquez

The Buffalo Bills last week made a move at the position when they released Kaare Vedvik and signed Lachlan Edwards. This switch could be a result that the team knew Vedvik wasn’t performing well in practice and wasn’t the answer.

However, the fact that the team brought in another punter, a veteran who led the league last year in punts and punt yards, also could be to send a message to Corey Bojorquez.

He has been the team’s punter for the past year and a half and while the team continues to bring in competition, Bojorquez continues to win the job. However, there is no question that Edwards is the best punter to compete with Bojorquez to this point.

There is no question that Corey Bojorquez has great leg strength but has struggled with his accuracy. When looking at touchbacks, Bojorquez has 11 on 124 punts while Edwards has 16 touchbacks on 338 punts.

dark. Next. Could the Bills only keep three running backs?

This is going to be a tough competition for Corey Bojorquez and it will be interesting if he will remain the team’s starting punter in 2020.
