Stock Up – Harrison Phillips

One of the biggest question marks entering training camp was where Harrison Phillips was in the rehab process for his knee. The Bills defensive tackle suffered a torn ACL during Week 3 against the Cincinnati Bengals after getting off to a fast start to the year.

The good news is that Phillips knee appears to be close to fully recovered and he has shown great burst, like in this video from Thad Brown of WROC.

While it may be a year later than expected, Harrison Phillips looks poised to step in as the team’s starting defensive tackle alongside Ed Oliver. He was taking snaps away from Star Lotulelei last season prior to his injury and with Lotulelei opting out, this is Phillips’ job for the taking.
