Stock Down – Robert Foster

The case of Robert Foster is an interesting one that dates all the way back to last year. The undrafted wide receiver had such a strong finish to the 2018 season and was the team’s top wide receiver down the stretch.

Last year, the Bills brought in John Brown and Cole Beasley but Foster should have been that third wide receiver on the depth chart. However, injuries during training camp slowed him down and he essentially was a non-factor last year.

The team brought him back this offseason but he was a long shot to make the roster with the additional talent added this year. Unfortunately for Foster he hasn’t been able to get on the field as he has been in the concussion protocol since last week.

The fact that these padded practices are so important to the franchise for evaluating the roster, it doesn’t help Robert Foster’s chances of being on the 53-man roster. At this point, it would be shocking if he made the regular season roster, especially with how Duke Williams and Isaiah McKenzie have looked recently.
