Isaiah McKenzie

The Buffalo Bills brought in Isaiah McKenzie midway through the 2018 season and over the past year and half has shown to be valuable as a dynamic playmaker, either as a receiver or out of the backfield on sweeps and end arounds.

However, this offseason the Bills invested heavily in the wide receiver position with Stefon Diggs and rookies Gabriel Davis and Isaiah Hodgins. These additional pieces has moved McKenzie down the depth chart to the point that he may be one of the final cuts before the regular season.

The depth the team has at wide receivers doesn’t leave much room for a gadget player like McKenzie and it will be important that he shows he can contribute in other areas, like on special teams. He is likely going to be competing with Andre Roberts for that sixth and final spot at wide receiver.

If Isaiah McKenzie can beat out Roberts to be the team’s primary kick returner, then he could make a strong case for that final spot.
