Trade for Jacoby Brissett

While the first two quarterbacks on this list wouldn’t cost anything as both are free agents, the Buffalo Bills may look at a quarterback like Jacoby Brissett, who is coming off one of the best years of his career.

Brissett has spent the past three seasons with the Indianapolis Colts after they traded with the New England Patriots for the quarterback prior to the 2017 season. The Colts traded for Brissett after Andrew Luck wasn’t ready to return from offseason shoulder surgery. He would go on to start 15 games for the Colts and finished with 3,089 passing yards, 13 touchdowns and seven interceptions.

Luck returned in 2018 and Brissett returned to backup role but became the starter once again in 2019 after Andrew Luck’s sudden retirement. He would have another solid performance with 2,942 passing yards, 18 touchdowns and six interceptions.

The reasons Brissett makes sense for the Buffalo Bills is while he doesn’t have playoff experience he is a veteran quarterback that has had success in this league. He doesn’t turn the ball over much, can get the ball to the playmakers and does provide some threat to run with four rushing touchdowns in the two years he was primarily the starter.
