Sign Colin Kaepernick

This signing would likely be controversial but from a football standpoint, there may not be a better quarterback to replicate what Josh Allen brings than Colin Kaepernick. This is assuming that the former 49ers quarterback would be able to still play at a level he did the last time he was in the league, back in 2016.

Kaepernick is another quarterback that has a similar combination to Josh Allen with a strong arm and the ability to make plays with his legs. In his final season with the 49ers, Kaepernick threw for 2,241 yards, 16 touchdowns and only four interceptions with another 468 yards on the ground and 2 rushing touchdowns.

In addition to the style of play, Kaepernick also has playoff experience, starting six games including Super Bowl XLVII.

The biggest question mark would be if Kaepernick still has the physical ability to play like he did in 2016 after being out of the league for three years. The workout will be a critical part of the process if the Buffalo Bills were to sign Colin Kaepernick.
