Establish the Run

While it would be exciting for fans to see the Buffalo Bills become an explosive passing offense with Stefon Diggs and John Brown using their speed to run past defenders and Josh Allen utilizing his big arm, for the defense it would be better to see the Bills establish the run.

One area that the Buffalo Bills offense was really good last year was on the ground, finishing eighth in the league in rushing yards per game with an average of 128.4 yards. They should continue to try to pound the rock, especially with Zack Moss joining the team in the NFL Draft.

The reason that this will benefit is that the teams that can establish the run, typically win the time of possession battle. This helps keep the defense on the sidelines and resting while the offense grinds the clock down.
