1. Tyler Bass

It is kind of hard to imagine a kicker having the biggest impact on the 2020 NFL season but he is the only player who could be in line for a full time starting job this year among the rookies. He will be competing with veteran Stephen Hauschka and has a legitimate chance here.

Hauschka has seen his accuracy drop to 78% on field goal attempts the past two seasons and he has struggled with longer field goals, making only 1 of 5 over 50 yards last year.

The leg strength is something that Bass has more than enough and recently the Buffalo Bills shared a video on Facebook of him hitting a field goal over 50 yards with no steps.

There is certainly a risk entering the season with a rookie kicker but the strong collegiate career of Bass combined with the decline of Stephen Hauschka’s performance makes sense for the Buffalo Bills to make a switch now.
