The Buffalo Bills will not trade up into the first round
While the Buffalo Bills have been aggressive in trading during the NFL Draft, the Bills will not be making a pick on Thursday night. The team traded their first round pick, 22nd overall, to the Minnesota Vikings for Stefon Diggs and with the additional picks drained a majority of their draft capital.
They will be entering this year’s draft near the bottom of the league in this area with only two picks in the Top 100 and a majority of their picks in Day 3. If the Bills were to somehow swing a trade into the first it would deplete almost all of their remaining picks to make the values work and even then it may not be enough.
This may not be as much of a prediction considering that GM Brandon Beane has already basically said this recently. Joe Buscaglia of The Athletic tweeted that Beane said he is treating Stefon Diggs as the team’s first round pick.
Fans should expect a very quiet night for the Buffalo Bills on Thursday night.
