The biggest dilemma the Buffalo Bills would be facing at the 54th pick in this draft scenario is passing up on edge rushers like Josh Uche, Julian Okwara and Curtis Weaver. Yes, this is an area of need, but the Bills invested a lot of capital into this position in free agency. It wouldn’t be wise to allocate the Bills first selection in the 2020 Draft on this position group after signing players like Mario Addison, Vernon Butler, and Quinton Jefferson.

The next scenario decision would be passing on Jonathan Taylor. Although he is an obvious top three talent for his position group, this type of investment in the position would merit taking too many carries away from Singletary. This is a position that should be selected in the 2020 Draft for the Bills, just not with the first selection.

Although the Bills added both E.J. Gaines and Josh Norman in free agency, by adding the 6’0″, 200 pound corner from Virginia, the Bills would then have 4 players competing for the CB2 position including the two aforementioned, Bryce Hall and Levi Wallace. This kind of competition for this the second corner spot should bring out the best in all four players.

Hall has an impressive combination of size and athleticism to match his high motor; he has the ability to surprise people with his contributions in his rookie year despite his ankle injury last season. His length would help him fit into the Bills primary zone defensive scheme. In addition, that same size and length gives him the ability to be versatile and play press-man at the LOS when necessary.
