Round 1 (27th overall)

Original Selection: Tre’Davious White, CB (LSU)

Re-Draft Selection: Tre’Davious White, CB (LSU)

This was an easy pick as the Buffalo Bills got a rising star at cornerback with Tre’Davious White. At this point in the first round, the Bills elected to go with a cornerback who had more experience and could step in right away. This is exactly what they got with Tre’Davious White.

The Bills had a major need at cornerback as they saw Stephon Gilmore, their top cornerback in 2016, leave in free agency and join the New England Patriots.

While White wasn’t able to match Gilmore’s production as a rookie, in three years he is in the same discussion. He had a breakout season this past year as he earned his first selection as a first-team All-Pro and a trip to the Pro Bowl.
