Contract

According to Spotrac, the Bills signed Jefferson to a two-year deal worth $13.5 million. However, the Bills could release Quinton Jefferson after this season, resulting in only $1.5 million in dead cap space.

In regards to where this contract ranks among other defensive linemen, he is the 61st highest paid defensive linemen in terms of average salary.

These are great numbers for a player who has started 24 games over the past two seasons. He also has played over 55% of the Seahawks total defensive snaps during that stretch. The Bills essentially got a starter for a backup dollars. This is an excellent deal for the Buffalo Bills, especially with an out after the first year.
