A.J. Epenesa

The next defensive end the Buffalo Bills will likely have on their radar is A.J. Epenesa and the former Iowa Hawkeye is right there in making a case as the next best pass rusher behind Chase Young.

The past two seasons Epenesa has recorded double digit sacks with 22 total over that time frame, as well as eight forced fumbles. At 6’6″ and 280 pounds he has great size at the defensive end that should allow him to help set the edge against the run but he still has the speed to get to the quarterback.

One of the biggest intriguing qualities of Epenesa is that he has the physical traits that allows him to be versatile along the defensive line. If the Buffalo Bills want to implement a speed rush defensive line they can shift him inside and line him up next to Ed Oliver that would create a pass rush most NFL teams wouldn’t have on the interior of their defensive line.
