Jordan Poyer

The only player on this list who isn’t currently on his rookie deal is safety Jordan Poyer. The Bills signed Poyer as a free agent in 2017 and at the time there wasn’t much known about him.

However, over the past three years he has continued to elevate his play and alongside Micah Hyde gives the Bills one of the best safety duos in the league.

He has played in 47 of the team’s 48 regular season games and has finished with over 95 total tackles each season. He also has had five sacks, 11 interceptions and 22 passes defended over that stretch.

At only 28 years of age, Poyer still has plenty of good football left in his career. It will be important for the Buffalo Bills’ front office to make sure he is still alongside Hyde at the back of this defense.
