Offense needs a true WR1

The Bills front office did a good job of getting Josh Allen a number of weapons with the addition of John Brown, Cole Beasley, Devin Singletary and Dawson Knox. However, this offense became stagnant at times and the one thing it needs is a true number one wide receiver that Josh Allen can lean on in crucial portions of the game.

Bills fans don’t need to look any further than the Houston Texans and what De’Andre Hopkins brings to that offense. The Texans struggled in the first half and it is no coincidence that Hopkins had no catches. However, DeShaun Watson made it a point to get him involved in the second half and their offense started clicking.

This certainly is a challenge for Brandon Beane and this organization because these are not always easy to find. However, if they are able to find that caliber of receiver, it will open things up more for wide receivers like John Brown as well help Josh Allen’s development.
