Stud: Devin Singletary

For the fourth week in a row, running back Devin Singletary had a great game. He had 75 yards on the ground against the Dolphins and followed that up with his first 100-yard game in Week 12 against Denver. Then on Thanksgiving Day, he had 101 yards combined as they shocked the Dallas Cowboys.

Against Baltimore, he once again topped the 100-yard mark from scrimmage finishing with 89 yards on 17 rushes and 29 yards on six receptions. He didn’t cross the goal line but was huge on each drive they had that ended with points.

Singletary was a third-round pick who came into the NFL with some question marks. Despite putting up some impressive numbers at Florida Atlantic, Singletary was passed over by several teams since he was just 5-foot-7 and ran a 4.66 in the 40-yard dash.

Buffalo was the one team that understood film was more important than running in a straight line and so far they’ve looked brilliant for taking him. They’ll also continue to lean on him as the colder months make it harder for teams to pass the ball — which is what we were seeing on Sunday as the wind in Orchard Park was tough to deal with at times.
