Week 17: New York Jets at Buffalo Bills

Going into Week 17, there will be two scenarios. One is the Bills will know their seeding in the playoffs and will be resting their key players in preparation for their playoff game.

The other is that they’re still in the mix for the AFC East and will do all they can to get their second win over the New York Jets — who they defeated 17-16 to start the 2019 season.

Buffalo was still finding their footing in that game as Josh Allen had two interceptions and Frank Gore managed only 20 yards.

They got a burst from rookie Devin Singletary though as he ran it just four times for 70 yards. What was most impressive was the fact that the Bills were able to pull off that win after entering the fourth quarter down 16-3.

Allen ran in a touchdown to pull them within six and then hit a game-winner as he found John Brown for a 38-yard score.

Assuming they still have a shot at the AFC East, expect Buffalo to come out determined to win this game. They won’t be falling behind a couple of scores this time but instead will control the game from start to finish.

The only question is whether or not this will be enough to overtake the Patriots. That part will be out of their hands but they do enough to deserve it as they finish with 12 wins and go into the postseason on fire.
