Who will win the punting job?

While the tight ends are battling it out to find out who the starter is, the Bills have two punters who not only are fighting for the starting job but a place on this roster. The winner of the battle between Corey Bojorquez and Cory Carter will mean one has a job and the other will be looking for one.

Through the first two preseason games, neither punter has really pulled away. In their first game against the Colts, Bojorquez had three punts and averaged 40 yards per punt while Carter had two punts and averaged 43.5 yards per punt.

Then in the second preseason game, Carter had two punts and averaged only 37.5 yards per punt but did have downed inside the 20 while Bojorquez only had one punt but it traveled 53 yards.

The bad news for Carter is that he has already been ruled out for the Buffalo Bills game Friday night against the Lions due to knee soreness. If Bojorquez plays well, it may be enough to win him the starting job.
