Isaiah McKenzie

The battle for the final wide receiver spot on the 53-man roster has heated up between Ray Ray McCloud and Isaiah McKenzie with McCloud seemingly having the inside track at the end of training camp. However, McKenzie looked great against the Colts with two receptions for 62 yards. He could pull ahead with another strong performance against the Panthers.

McKenzie joined the Bills mid-season after the team claimed him on waivers after the Denver Broncos released him. He finished the year with 18 receptions, 179 receiving yards to go along with 87 punt return yards and 237 kickoff return yards over seven games.

The battle for the final wide receiver spot likely won’t be decided Friday night but a favorite certainly could emerge based on the play of these two players.
