The Buffalo Bills don’t have great odds to win it all next year, but the team should be in the playoff hunt after a disappointing 2018.

This year’s Super Bowl isn’t even here yet and next year’s odds are already out.

Will the Buffalo Bills be in the big game next year? It’s possible.

I’ll slow down the hype train a bit by saying I don’t expect the Bills to be contending for the Super Bowl next year. However, there is no reason why the team shouldn’t be fighting for a playoff spot.

The Bills managed to go 6-10 in a season filled with dysfunction, mainly on offense. The team couldn’t move the ball for several weeks in a row and that came after two terrible games to start the year.

Moving forward to 2019, the Bills will have Josh Allen under center after he had a whole year to grow in the league. His stats weren’t always pretty, but he was only supposed to learn in 2018. Any wins were just a bonus.

Add any production at running back and a big addition at receiver and there is real talent to look forward to watching in 2019. That is then combined with a defense that should be among the top in the NFL.

The past two decades have been rough, but it is truly an exciting time to be a Bills fan.

We look at the latest news surrounding the team in this Thursday edition of The Morning Charge.

The odds are out for 2020 and that means fans can get to betting. The odds aren’t favorable for the Bills, but there is always hope.

Lorenzo Alexander back for another season (BuffaLowDown, Steven Kubitza)

Lorenzo Alexander will put the questions about his age aside and return for one more year. This is great news as he can continue to be the veteran in a very talented group of linebackers.

Some minor roster news from Wednesday. The Bills would still be wise to add several new offensive linemen this offseason.

We end today with an in-depth look at the Alexander news.

First we had Kyle Williams and now we have the veteran linebacker. Hopefully Alexander can leave after a winning season.
