Buffalo Bills rookie quarterback Josh Allen had a great performance in Week 17 and was given some recognition for his great day.
The Buffalo Bills had to find a way to give Kyle Williams a proper finale on Sunday to cap off his great 13-year career.
Five touchdowns from Josh Allen sure helped the cause.
Allen did it on the ground and through the air as he helped lead the Bills to a huge blowout victory over the Miami Dolphins. It got Adam Gase fired, so it must have been tough to watch in Miami.
Allen was honored for his performance by being named the AFC Offensive Player of the Week for Week 17.

Not the best rookie of the week. The best offensive player in the entire AFC. That is quite the honor and a deserved one for the rookie.
Baker Mayfield has gotten a lot of national attention for his play, but I would argue Allen is right behind him in terms of providing hope for the future.
Give the kid a few legitimate wide receivers and he should only do better. Oh, and maybe a run game behind him too. And some better blocking while we’re at it.
We look and this news and more in today’s edition of The Morning Charge.
Buffalo Bills News:
Bills reportedly move on from another offensive coach (BuffaLowDown, Steven Kubitza)
First the offensive line coach and now the wide receivers coach. I bet the firings keep on coming over the next few days.

The final power rankings of the year are here and the Bills are all over the place in different sets of rankings.
Report: Terry Robiskie out as Bills wide receivers coach (PFT, Josh Alper)
Some more news on the latest firing. Robiskie didn’t get much time, but the lackluster results appear to have been enough to move on.
Juan Castillo ‘hurt’ by firing as Bills’ O-line coach (The Buffalo News, Vic Carucci)
Juan Castillo was given a chance to explain his thoughts and feelings after being fired.
It is never good to see someone get fired, yet Sean McDermott and Brandon Beane must have believed the move was in the best interest of the team.
