Try saying that last name five times fast. I dare you.

But I digress. The Bills have a long history of outstanding offensive linemen, and Joe DaLamielleure is among the very best. That’s why you can currently find his bust sitting in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Although DeLamielleure spent a big chunk of his career with the Cleveland Browns, his very best years were all in Buffalo. During his time with the club, he was selected to five Pro Bowl teams and was named First-Team All-NFL on three separate occasions. His abilities as a blocker never seemed to go unnoticed by the rest of the league.

Why? Well the amazing blocking he provided for O.J. Simpson was a big part of it. The outstanding guard excelled in the ground game, routinely moving defenders out of the way and opening huge holes for “The Juice” to run through.

Now immortalized in NFL history, DeLamielleure stands as one of the greatest to ever wear a Buffalo uniform. Even among a loaded group of tremendous blockers, the Michigan native absolutely belongs in the Top 10 of the all-time Bills greats.
