Tre’Davious White makes his first Pro Bowl

This man deserved to be in the Pro Bowl as a rookie. Maybe it was because he was a rookie, or because he played in Buffalo. But a snub is a snub and he should have been there last year.

That sets him up well to make the event this year if he puts up similar production to what he did a year ago.

White showed up as the No. 31 overall player in the NFL in a list published by Pro Football Focus earlier this summer. No. 31 in the entire league? Sounds like a Pro Bowler to me.

White finished last season with four interceptions and it will be interesting to see what that total is this season now that he is known as a shutdown corner. If the number goes down don’t fret, it may just mean he is being avoided by opposing quarterbacks.

Barring a total sophomore slump there is no reason why White should not be in the Pro Bowl. He established himself as a top corner in his rookie season and that should mean he is still approaching his prime.

The best thing for fans in 2018 would be to hear his name sparingly throughout games. That means he is shutting down opposing receivers and messing with the opposing offense’s gameplan.
