Buffalo Bills News: Not getting distracted by outside noise
Buffalo Bills rookie quarterback Josh Allen isn’t a star in the eyes of Jalen Ramsey. That and more in today’s edition of the Morning Charge.
The Buffalo Bills have a good situation at quarterback in 2018.
There is a competition but it is not one where the team is looking to pick a winner by default. All three competitors have shown flashes of success that makes the decision a bit tougher for the coaching staff.
Josh Allen may be the odd man out at the start of the season but he is still the quarterback of the future. He was a polarizing draft pick back in April but he is starting to earn more respect. He also reps Buffalo well so he has the “gets us” factor.
Jalen Ramsey recently decided to go off in an interview with GQ and declare Allen to be a terrible quarterback. He said the same about some other QBs as well.
Instead of escalating the situation Allen said the comments didn’t bother him. At this point I’m sure Allen has heard worse and won’t be distracted by such comments. His response should have been expected but it is still nice to see a rookie handling things so well. He won’t let it even become close to a distraction as he prepares for the season.
That and more in today’s Morning Charge.
