Buffalo Bills: An early look at some 2018 fantasy football rankings
The Buffalo Bills have some major questions on offense in 2018, but there are still some solid fantasy options on the roster this year.
The Buffalo Bills seemingly have holes all over the offense, but that doesn’t mean the group is entirely without talent. In fact, there are a few players who even stand out as solid fantasy football options in 2018.
About a month ago, our Justin Baumann went through and did his early fantasy projections for Bills players in 2018. The quarterback position is obviously one to avoid in drafts, unless your league is extremely deep or you only draft Bills players, but several players showed up as potential assets for fantasy owners.
To build upon Baumann’s piece, I recently checked out Matthew Berry’s 2018 PPR rankings to see what he had to say about Bills players.
Berry has the following rankings at each position:
RB: LeSean McCoy (No. 12 overall)
WR: Kelvin Benjamin (No. 34 overall)
TE: Charles Clay (No. 12 overall)
D/ST: Bills (No. 17 overall)
Still no superstar players for Bills fans to draft in fantasy leagues, but solid options remain. McCoy and Clay stand out as players who will likely go in a majority of fantasy drafts, while Benjamin is a player who should show up near the end of most standard drafts.
The Bills defense is arguably ranked lower than their potential, but No. 17 overall is respectable. These projections are also being done in June, so things will likely change between now and September.
I’m not sure it would be wise, but some diehard Bills fans may even draft AJ McCarron or Josh Allen, depending on who is named the starter for Week 1. It certainly wouldn’t hurt in a dynasty league with deep rosters. The one I am in has 25-man rosters, so it causes no harm to stash someone like Allen and hope for the best.

What do you think of Berry’s rankings? Should these players be higher, or is he spot on?
