Buffalo Bills: The idea of untradeable players on the team

It is hard to think of any truly untouchable players when it comes to the Buffalo Bills, especially if any teams present some great trade offers.

The Buffalo Bills have a lot of talent on the roster, but are still searching for that one player who is the true face of the franchise.

A recent article by Adam Rank of NFL.com featured his list of untradeable players who aren’t quarterbacks. The likes of Aaron Donald, Antonio Brown and J.J. Watt made his list, which got me thinking about the Bills.

There isn’t one Bills player that comes to mind, before the draft, that is untradeable. LeSean McCoy stands out as someone who probably shouldn’t be traded, but a great offer for the 29-year-old back would be hard to turn down.

Kyle Williams may fall into this category only because he has spent his entire career in Buffalo and decided to come back for one more year. Trading him now would really hurt the front office’s reputation.

When it comes to non-QBs, it is hard to find players who stand out as untradeable. It is a short list and features the top stars of the game. Unfortunately, Buffalo isn’t home to any players who fans flock to see. At least not yet.

That will hopefully change after the draft when the Bills have plenty of picks within the first few rounds to grab some franchise-changing players. Given the team grabs a top quarterback right away, that leaves the rest of the picks to be spent on other positions. Unless the Bills want to take the route of drafting two quarterbacks, which is a plan that could be a possibility.

Regardless of the quarterback situation, the Bills should be adding some top talent next month.
