Buffalo Bills Fall to the Seattle Seahawks on Monday Night
By Pete Macias
Percy Harvin made his season debut with the Buffalo Bills against his former team on Monday Night Football.
After losing two games in a row, the Buffalo Bills are looking to get back on the winning track.
This was a tough test traveling to Seattle to take on the Seahawks, but Buffalo came out motivated. LeSean McCoy was healthy and the Bills even re-signed Percy Harvin during the week to give the offense some help.
The game got off to a quick three and out for Seattle. On the punt, Buffalo blocked the punt and the Bills got the ball deep in Seattle territory. Buffalo scored on one play with a run by Tyrod Taylor to take a 7-0 lead.
Seattle came back on their next possession and threw a deep 50-yard pass to Doug Baldwin — who was covered by Ronald Darby. On the next play, Seattle scored on a Russell Wilson 3-yard run to tie the game at 7.
The Buffalo Bils answered back with a long, clock-killing drive. The drive ended with a touchdown pass to Justin Hunter to take a 14-7 lead. Hunter has been a good pick up since he joined the Bills.
Buffalo ended the quarter with a 14-7 lead.
Seattle scored on the first play of the 2nd quarter to tie the game at 14. Russell Wilson hit TE Jimmy Graham on a TD pass that featured a nice one-handed grab. Buffalo answered back with a field goal to by Dan Carpenter to take a 17-14 lead.
Seattle then scored another 3-yard rushing TD by Christine Michael to take a 21-17 lead. Russell Wilson would connect on another TD pass to Jimmy Graham — another one-handed catch — to take a 28-17 lead into halftime.
The Buffalo Bills started the second half moving down the field before Tyrod Taylor threw an interception in the end zone to Richard Sherman. Rookie Shaq Lawson answered by sacking Russell Wilson on the next drive to force a punt. Buffalo finished the third quarter working on a great drive.

The Bills had a nice drive going late in the 4th quarter, but could not get anything out of it and were forced to punt the ball with 3:20 to go in the game. Buffalo took the game down to the final 13 seconds of the game.
They played well and were a play or two away from winning the game. This could have been a winnable game if they didn’t have the injuries they’ve had.
Despite all the injuries and lack of playmakers, the Bills have been in every game this season. The weakest link of the team are the receivers. However, the cornerbacks have shown some cracks this season as well.
