Here is our first round Buffalo Bills mock draft (3.0 edition). Who will the Bills select at #19? Read on and find out.
When doing this Buffalo Bills mock draft we tried to take into consideration the overall talent of the players available and each team’s needs. We were hoping in this exercise to get a clearer picture of the potential players the Bills might have available to them at #19 overall. So here goes…

16. Detroit Lions – Laquon Treadwell – WR – Mississippi
17. Atlanta Falcons – A’Shawn Robinson – DT – Alabama
18. Indianapolis Colts – Taylor Decker – OT – Ohio State
19. Buffalo Bills – Leonard Floyd – LB – Georgia
He is not very strong against the run and that has to do with his lack of ideal size. That is part of the reason why he is better suited to play on the outside than the inside in the NFL. If Floyd can bulk up without losing his speed or athletic ability he has the potential to be a pass rushing star in the NFL as an outside linebacker in a 3-4 system.
Despite the fact that Buffalo is looking to play in more 3-4 defenses this year, he might not be a good fit for the team. The Bills already have Jerry Hughes who is an elite pass rusher and he would be considered a linebacker and not defensive end in their 3-4 system.
In this mock the Bills decided to ignore the fact that they already have Jerry Hughes and they took the best available talent at #19 in linebacker Leonard Floyd.
20. New York Jets – Paxton Lynch – QB – Memphis
21. Washington Redskins – Sheldon Rankins – DT – Louisville
22. Houston Texans – Noah Spence – DE – Eastern Kentucky
23. Minnesota Vikings – Jason Spriggs – OT – Indiana
