1.  EJ Manuel Will Establish Himself As #1 Quarterback

The question has been around all offseason: Is EJ Manuel finally going to establish himself as a franchise quarterback in Buffalo this year?

General manager Doug Whaley has the utmost confidence in Manuel as he was the driving force in drafting him 16th overall back in the 2013 NFL draft.  When the team was searching for a new head coach he made it very clear that if the new guy coming in didn’t believe in Manuel then he didn’t what him coaching the team.

That new head coach is Rex Ryan and even if he does believe in Manuel it didn’t stop the organization from bringing in both Matt Cassel and Tyrod Taylor to fight for the starting job.

Coaches have stated that all three quarterbacks are expected to get a similar amount of reps by establishing two starting offenses throughout the program.  This’ll give each guy a fair shot at winning the job but with Manuel’s experience with receivers like Sammy Watkins and Robert Woods, I believe he’ll be the favorite heading into training camp.
