Now two signings that were veteran additions that will help the Bills with young position groups that show promise. Whaley brings in Veteran Receiver and former Patriot Wes Welker, Welker brings some veteran leadership to a young receiving crop that hasn’t had a veteran leader since the departure of Stevie Johnson a season ago. In another move that is seen by some as a head scratcher the Buffalo Bills sign Michael Vick to a two year contract worth an approximated 2 million dollars per year. Vick would be a great addition for the Bills because he could tutor Manuel in the ways of the Mobile Quarterback from one of the best at that particular style of all time. Vick even in his advanced age for a NFL player still requires opposing Defensive Coordinator to plan out a contingency plan if he enters the game. Last season against the Bills after Geno Smith threw three straight interceptions, Vick came in and didn’t play terribly. With the signings of Welker and Vick the Buffalo Bills wrap up free agency they move onto the Draft.
