The Buffalo Bills had a last second win over the Minnesota Vikings. What does this win do for the Bills? The Bills needed something to get back on track and go on a run. They can get a second win coming into the Bye week and have a 5-3 record at the same time. Will this past win be a catalyst for the Bills to get one more before the Bye week? [Buffalo Bills]
With Fred Jackson and C.J. Spiller out for a while, fantasy lineups have taken a hit. With both of these players accounting for 41% of the Bills offense, they will have to turn to Anthony Dixon and Bryce Brown. Brown has not played this year in the regular season as he has been inactive for all 7 weeks. He will get his first shot this week against the Jets, and will most likely stay in for the rest of the season taking on the role for Spiller. Brown will have an immediate impact and has the explosion like Spiller, not a bad pick up for the fantasy lineup if you have the room. [Bleacher Report]
The Buffalo Bills held the top defensive rank against the run going into week 7 against the Vikings. After the game, it showed the Bills allowed an uncharacteristic amount of yards per carry; 5.4. Is this a fluke? I think so. The Bills had missed tackles, which allowed a 2.45 additional yards per carry after contact this past week. They were allowing 1.58 additional yards per carry after contact up until last week. Missed tackles will do any team in no matter how good their team is. [ESPN]
The offensive line struggled again this week. CHanges need to be made in some fashion.
"“The offensive line, we have to do a better job with the small things,” Cordy Glenn said. “I know we said it the last few weeks, but it’s far enough along in the season where we can’t keep doing the same thing every week. We gotta take more pride in what we’re doing and just help the team out better so we don’t get in those bad situations so much.”– Buffalo Bills"
