If you haven’t already seen the press conference after the Texans loss, or at least heard it, here is a transcript of Doug Marrone and his press conference that took place. He talks EJ Manuel, the receivers, and the loss to the Texans. [Syracuse.com]
The Buffalo Bills has been the unit that has been able to bring home the two wins, so far, limiting their opponents to only 30 points in the first two games. The defense came up big again in Sunday;s loss only given up 16 points. They are providing the recipe for winning, the offense on the other hand is burning the biscuits. DeAndre Hopkins gave praise to the Bills defense. [Buffalo Bills]
The biggest news to come out of One Bills Drive this week is the replacing of the guard at quarterback. EJ Manuel, only in his 14th overall game is being replace by Kyle Orton, only 4 games into this season. Is it Doug Marrone trying to save his job, or does he feel that Kyle Orton can’t be any worse and is trying to save the season before it is too late. [ESPN]
Fred Jackson believes that too much change at this point might be a bad idea. Sweeping change at week 4 is not necessary based on the co-Captains assessment of the situation. He also has said that they, as in the team, has not supported EJ as they could have. [Buffalo Bills]
With the 2013 trade with the Rams, where the Bills landed EJ Manuel, was it the right choice for the Bills at the time. The Rams moved up to the 8th spot in the draft and picked up Tavon Austin, the Bills we know got EJ Manuel at the 16th spot. We also picked up Kiko Alonso in the second and Marquise Goodwin in the 3rd. TE Chris Gragg was our final pick of the draft from the trade. How did we do with this trade? [ESPN]
