With a new stadium proposal in the works, some that don’t think we need one, and others that can’t decide on where to have it, it is going to be a long process and not everyone is going to be happy with the final decision. Sammy Watkins admitted to taking a play off during the game against the Chargers. What are your feelings about the play and if Sammy Watkins was right to pull up late in a game that was just about over. Here are others fans thoughts on Watkins and his choice to pull up as well as disclose this information. [ESPN]
Through the first two weeks EJ Manuel had managed the game well and was sitting pretty with a 95+ quarterback rating. In week three Manuel was able to put together an astounding 8.4 quarterback rating and no I didn’t forget any numbers; 8.4 is what it is for week 3. [ESPN]
With the week 3 loss behind us, we turn to look ahead. The Houston Texans are up next and the Buffalo Bills will travel to Houston to take on the Texas. When they take the field, there will be a familiar face on the field across from them. Ryan Fitzpatrick is the starting quarterback for the Houston Texas; yes the bearded quarterback that was at the helm for Buffalo only 2 years ago. [Sports Media 101]
Look for Buffalo to make a change or two this week with their rosters. Marcus Easley, special teams specialist, will be out 4 to 6 weeks with an MCL sprain that occurred during the Chargers games. Special teams players, Boobie Dixon, Chris Hogan and Ty Powell will have to step up and fill in the gap to replace Easley. [Buffalo Rumblings]
