Marquise Goodwin made the news with a tweet stating that Bills fans that booed at half time are also the first ones in line for autographs and calling us band-wagoners. Goodwin needs to pay more attention to his play on the field and stay healthy. He missed 4 games last year due to injury and only has seen action in 2 preseason games this year and got hurt in last weeks game. He states that having a small frame and running into people, you are more prone to injury, but I know small players that don’t get hurt. He needs to worry about himself on the field and less about what the reaction of the fans when they have a poor performance. [ESPN]
EJ Manuel is under a a lot of pressure these days. Manuel was drafted last year in the 16th spot and was immediately pushed into the spotlight and deemed the new face of the franchise. He is thought of the quarterback to finally replace Jim Kelly. So far, Manuel has only played in 10 games for his career. His accuracy has been lacking and his confidence has seemed to waver. Manuel is looking to change the perception of him and begin to lead this team to where they should be; the playoffs. [Sports Media 101]
