Bills close with a W

AUTHOR: Zach | IN: Uncategorized | COMMENTS: None Yet

My apologies for the lateness of this post.  I’m sure you’re expecting some very profound post regarding last nights victory but truth be told my job has kicked my but this week.  I watched the game last night and dare I say I enjoyed it.  The Bills did come away with a 16-13 victory but that’s not the big story.  The big story is players who stood out in the game.  The players I thought stood out were Trent Edwards, Ashton Youboty, Fred Jackson, Dwayne Wright and Shaud Williams.
It was good to see the runningbacks play well in this game [...]

A Few last minutes things…

AUTHOR: Zach | IN: Uncategorized | COMMENTS: None Yet

In just a matter of minutes the Buffalo Bills will begin their final and most meaningless preseason game. I thought I would fill you in on what I will be watching this evening. I’ll be watching American Idol…just kidding, let’s get to some serious football talk.
The offensive line is an area of concern and a position I’ll be watching. There isn’t a whole lot of depth there and I’ll be watching those reserve players perform and will try to decide who I trust the most to enter a game in case of injury. The starting lineup should be pretty well [...]

Mark Miller, We Love You!

Even though Mark couldn’t shove it in his Gary’s someones face and the Bills didn’t beat Dallas, it is still a great youtube find.

Down the stretch they come

AUTHOR: Zach | IN: Uncategorized | COMMENTS: None Yet

The Buffalo Bills and the Detroit Lions are preparing for the most meaningless game of the entire season.  I am sure both teams have just two main goals… Stay healthy and try to figure out who will the 50th, 51st, 52nd and 53rd player on the roster.  For those guys it seems to be an important game…hardly because those will be the guys announced as inactive every week.
The Bills have announced that the starters will see a brief appearance in the game before they start looking towards September 9th and the home opener against the Denver Broncos.  Is it too [...]

Big Plays not Enough

AUTHOR: Zach | IN: Uncategorized | COMMENTS: None Yet

The Buffalo Bills had a couple of big plays by the first team offense but lost to the Tennessee Titans 28-17. After a sluggish start the Bills started to get going when J.P. Losman hit Peerless Price on a long pass play down the right sideline. The Bills had to settle for a field goal on that drive to pull within 7-3. Losman also hit Lee Evans on a long pass for a 64 yard touchdown to put the Bills ahead 10-7. The Bills defense allowed Vince Young to drive the Titans down the field in [...]

Schobel signs extension

AUTHOR: Zach | IN: Uncategorized | COMMENTS: None Yet

The Buffalo Bills announced that they have signed Aaron Schobel to a contract extension. The terms of the deal were not released but the Bills are hopeful that he will remain with the team for the rest of his career.
“We’re trying to keep our good players, and one of the ways you do that is you go to them early and work out deals in order to keep your own,” Overdorf said before Buffalo played Tennessee in a preseason game. “Hopefully, Aaron finishes his career as a Buffalo Bill. That was one of his objectives in this, too.”
This is [...]

A guide to game #3

AUTHOR: Zach | IN: Uncategorized | COMMENTS: None Yet

It should be an interesting night in Ralph Wilson Stadium as the Buffalo Bills and Tennessee Titans match up in a preseason game.  The weather was a factor last week because of high winds and this week it will be heat and humidity that greets the teams and fans alike.  As far as preseason games go the third game is the most important.  The starters are expected to play into the third quarter which doesn’t give the backups too much time to shine.  Here is a guide as to what you should watch for tonight.
The first thing I will be [...]
